Hello Timers! 👋

First, thank you for volunteering! It is greatly appreciated. You will be pleased to know our timeline for tomorrow is estimated at 2.5 hours, so it should a quick meet! 

A lesson I have learned with the jobs is that having lane assignments would clear confusion when everyone is trying to get to where they need to be. This goes for home and away meets. As a result, I have updated the job with lane assignments. When you sign in tomorrow it will be on the sheet but you should also see it in the app too. If you already had a friend to partner with, that's fine. Just work it out with another lane. The goal of this is to avoid the mad scramble for clipboards and watches and confusion when our Dresden friends need a lane. 

There will be a timers meeting at 5:15, at our Spirit Tent in the corner by the diving boards. Our official will cover any updates and you can pick up your clipboards, watches and partners at that time. We will switch timers after event #9. 

Lastly, I would love your feedback if this change is helpful or if you have any other thoughts about our meet operations. By day I am a project manager so I am always looking for efficiencies and ways to improve meets for our swimmers and volunteers. 

Thanks again for volunteering! It has been such a huge lift for me this season having all the jobs filled before every meet. I am so thankful for all of you!
