Tomorrow's Meet
June 5th
Dolphin Families - We hope you are looking forward to our first swim meet tomorrow morning! Here's a few reminders for tomorrow's Hawaiian themed meet:
- If your swimmer is signed-up to swim and now they will not be swimming, please email us ASAP. We may need to adjust relays and it could affect our ability to combine heats.
- Arrival Times
- 6:30 a.m. – Junior coaches arrive to assist in set-up and be ready for swimmer arrivals
- 6:45 a.m.* – All swimmers arrive
- 6:50 a.m. – Dryland warmup for swimmers
- 7:00 a.m. – Warm-up in the pool (only 20 min. warm-up)
- 8:00 a.m. – Meet start
- Team Camp
- North side of the competition pool (rock wall side of pool)
- Bring shade and chairs, snacks, sunscreen, water bottles, towels, and extra snuggly clothes for swimmers
- Display your Hawaiian attire!
- Families
- If volunteering, please check-in for credit and be on time
- If leaving with swimmer before end of meet, please ensure coaches know that swimmer is leaving (we may need a swimmer in a relay at end).
- Enjoy cheering on your swimmer and be a welcoming host to visiting teams
- Bring a permanent marker and write swimmer events on their arm/leg per instructions in Swim Meet Tips handout.
- Write young swimmers names on back of right shoulder

- FIND AND TALK TO COACHES AFTER EACH EVENT YOU SWIM 😊
- Swim caps are in folders, if you haven’t picked it up yet
- Bullpen for all 10 & under swimmers – 11 & Up is optional
- Wear your team suit, goggles and cap.
- Bring extra clothes, snacks, water bottle, and towels.
- Swim with confidence and have fun!
- Cheer on your teammates and be welcoming to other teams!
*Groveport has 145 swimmers registered for the swim meet, and Logan has quite a few, too. You may want to arrive earlier to ensure finding a parking space, and easier access to setup camp.
